VALOREJET project aims:

1. To increase the links between the scientific community and the several agents of the fishing sector;

2. To know the biological and fishing exploitation potential of the selected species of low commercial value and of no commercial value that are now discarded;

3. To increase the supply of food products, in order to revitalize the market;

4. To develop the processes of transformation more appropriate to each species;

5. Develop new marine films and/or coatings as a new packaging material with ready-to-consume fish products, allowing the shelf life of the films to be extended.
